Absolutely fantastic Day

You know, every once in awhile one of those days comes along that kind of erases all the stresses of the world that have been holding you down. I'd like to thank all my friends and family for hanging in there. Today made up for all my crappy days recently, I hardly know where to start...

So I'll start with the finished clapotis. Hurrah!!!!!! It looks absolutely fantastic!

Yippee!!!!! See that small ball of yarn. That's what I had left over, it's about an inch ball of yarn left over. Hurrah!!! I'm just so happy.

So, that was finished about an hour ago while watching disc 6 of season 2 of 21 Jump Street (Young Johnny Depp!!!), so now I'll go back to the rest of the day. I woke up, made myself Very berry muffins for breakfast and sat down to read the paper from cover to cover. My favorite Sunday activity. Then I went over to my parent's house to see my beautiful niece and later have mom's homemade pizza for dinner. I'm very much the doting aunt and Lindsay was in very good spirits today and laughing and carrying on. She holds her hands out to you now for you to hold her. It's so cute.

So my mom and I wanted to go to this estate sale that my dad had been to the day before, so we took Lindsay along with us. My dad said that apparently the woman who's sale it was had a lot of sewing stuff and she was a quilter. She was a wonderful quilter, as evidenced by the quilts for sale, but more importantly, she was also a knitter. Look at my haul!!!

Circular needles

Double pointed needles and crochet hooks

So, altogether I ended up with"
9 sets of circular needles (1 size 0, 2 size 1, 2 size 2, 2 size 3, 1 size 7 and one size 6),
7 sets of double points (Sizes 0,1,3,3,4,7,8),
2 crochet hooks,
2 needle gauges,
1 tape meausure
15 bobbins,
4 boxes of stitch markers
2 boxes of point protectors
2 counters
7 stitch holders
5 tapestry needles
and yes, your eyes do not decieve you, a tatting shuttle.

Even more amazing, I only paid $10 for it all. What a perfect day!!! Yeah!!!

What a steal! I'm so jealous. If only I could seem to get to bed before 6am. Sigh.

Those nylon circulars are very popular, and they can't make them anymore. Lucky you!
