True Courage

I had some sad news today about the friend I'm making the Flower Basket Shawl for. Her husband has taken a turn for the worse and he is not expected to last more than a few more days. I truly admire her courage and strength. She and her husband have been battling cancer for several months and she has been so strong throughout all the ups and downs and now, as his fight has come to the end, she is by his side. My thoughts and prayers will be with her in the next few days.
