Being in HR really sucks...
Monday - One of my favorite people resigned to me. Being in HR really sucks.
Tuesday - Another employee resigns and there are issues. Being in HR really sucks.
I'm sick. I have to work late tomorrow and I have feeling that tomorrow isn't going to be an improvement over the first two days of the week.
Conclusion...Sometimes, being in HR really sucks.

I feel your pain about how HR sucks. I know you have the suckiness on such a grander scale than I, but on Tuesday, one of my employees resigned. I can't really say I'm glad she's leaving because she's actually quite a troublemaker in the department. But, I'm sad because of the increased workload I will have to assume until I can find someone to replace her. Then again, maybe I'll be fine and find out that she really didn't do all that much. (She was an inherited EE from a Supv who left the company, and said Supv didn't address the troublemaker or workload issues at all!)
Oh well...tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...
